We always strive to ensure you have a good experience with us. For this reason, we have addressed some of the questions that are frequently asked of us. If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to send us an email or use our channels on social media.

Do you offer a vegetarian menu?
Do you offer a vegetarian menu?
Yes, from July to November we have the option to cook vegetarian. As we use as many ingredients from the region as possible, this period is the most abundant and the aromatics are at their peak.
We are working on making it possible year-round.
Can you accommodate a vegan lifestyle?
Can you accommodate a vegan lifestyle?
Unfortunately, no. We are still exploring this area because, with a regional concept, one is already very limited in terms of product variety. Our network of producers is not yet extensive enough to create a complex menu from it, and we have not yet found adequate techniques that refine classic French cuisine in terms of consistency, taste, and craftsmanship. It will probably take another 2 years. The winter months, in particular, are a real challenge for us.
Do you offer vouchers?
Do you offer vouchers?
We have decided against offering vouchers. There are several reasons for this:
For one, we operate in many business areas (restaurant, pop-up, private dining, etc.), so managing deposits, voucher amounts, and keeping track of voucher receipts in our booking system could become difficult or even lead to misunderstandings.
Furthermore, we want to avoid people coming to us just “because they received it as a gift”. A lot of passion and attention to detail go into what we do every day. Therefore, it’s important to us that everyone who visits knows what we are passionate about, understands our concept, but also knows what they are getting into.
However, if someone still wants to gift an irori experience, we offer a postcard that can be labeled as a “gift” and can serve as a starting point for a joint reservation with the recipient.
Do you have a pescetarian menu?
Do you have a pescetarian menu?
Yes, upon request and pre-order, we can replace the meat courses with fish in our menu.
How often do you change the menu?
How often do you change the menu?
We base our dish compositions on what our farmers and producers provide. The menu doesn’t completely change at a specific date, but individual courses might be modified daily or rotated every 6-8 weeks.
With regional ingredients, we’re often dependent on the weather and the corresponding quantities, which then also determine the duration of a composition. Generally, you can say that each season sets a complete menu, and then it is rotated every 4-8 weeks.
Do you offer a wine pairing?
Do you offer a wine pairing?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a direct wine pairing. Due to our focus on fresh, regional products, components in the courses can sometimes change daily. A wine pairing tailored to each dish would entail an incredible amount of time and logistical effort since we would have to adjust it individually each time. Therefore, we’ve focused on a nice, extensive selection of bottles and also offer wines by the glass that complement our menu well, without being a “true” wine pairing.
Do you accept card payment?
Do you accept card payment?
Yes, we offer card payments. You can pay with either a debit card or a credit card.
Is the Isenhof completely barrier-free?
Is the Isenhof completely barrier-free?
The Isenhof is a historic, listed merchant’s house from the 17th century. For this reason, we unfortunately cannot guarantee absolute accessibility everywhere. And because of the monument protection, we cannot make changes in the way we might like.
Therefore, there are a few steps in the building, for example up to the entrance door, from the entrance area to the guest rooms and there is also a step in front of the toilet. However, if you need help, e.g. because someone in your group is in a wheelchair, we are always there to help you.
